  • Where did you grow up?

I was born in Corowa in NSW and spent part of my childhood on our family property in Eurobin before moving down to Melbourne

  • Where did you go to school?

I attended both Glen Iris Primary School and Sacre Coeur in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne

  • When did you start playing netball?

I started with Net Set Go when I was really young but my first real netball experience was when I moved to Sacre Coeur and joined the netball team to make new friends

  • Did you play any other sports growing up?

I played representative netball for Waverley District Netball Association before being selected for the Victorian state team in 2009. After graduating from school I moved to Canberra to go on scholarship at the Australian Institute of Sport and from there played for the Australian U/21 team. At the end of 2013 after competing at the World Youth Cup, I joined the Melbourne Vixens

  • How did you get into the Diamonds?

After my second year with Vixens in 2015 and having received more consistent court time I was selected for the Australian Diamonds for the first time. This was for the 2015 Constellation Cup tour, post the World Cup in Sydney. Sometimes sport is all about timing and for me, lots of defenders had retired after this competition opening up a spot in the 12. In 2018 I played in the Commonwealth Games and in 2019 the Netball World Cup, two of my major sporting goals
